Artist Statement
My art explores what it's like to live in today's world, focusing on the experiences and challenges unique to our generation as we have to juggle both digital and physical lives. I examine how we are subjected to constant manipulation, especially through marketing and branding, making us chase continuous disappointments. I try to observe and reflect on how repeatedly going through this cycle changes our collective behavior, often without us realizing it, through my works. Through a process of renovation and re-purposing, often reworking ideas in different settings to identify the boundaries for the meaning-making process, my works tend to take the form of hints that can be advanced further.
