A poem is different from other literature forms basically because of its structure. In the older days, in Kannada language, we had chandassu, ragale, kandapadya etc which were actually the products of exploring new structures to write poems. The modern Navya movement also questioned the habitual structure. As nothing of that sort happened afterwards, the poetry writing itself got almost saturated for a few decades now.
I believe, art or any medium of expression has to avoid any kind of saturation and it is our responsibility to explore alternative possibilities. This book is one such attempt.
It also pushes the relationship between the images and poems, questioning the habitual practice of using images just as an armrest beside the poems.
