Gadiyarada Suttha | Around the clock

-

Binded book (38 pages)
Handcut papers, 6"×8.5" each, 2022

This black book has recorded the usual happenings around the small clock tower Chikka Gadiyara, Mysuru over some time. If I am to compare, this book is like a novel which makes you partly see what’s coming next, but to get a full picture, you have to turn the page. The curiosity of what’s next keeps us going further and further here as well.

Both positive and negative shapes coming together in multiple layers to find a middle ground of balance could be a metaphor for a way to live a meaningful life amidst this chaos.
